Chu Xiang | Founder Introduction

Chu Xiang inheritor Han Xue, also known as Xue Tong, was born in Wuhan.

As a writer and recluse, she has published the novel "Pure Land" and a collection of essays titled "Snow Falling in Three Thousand Courtyards." Influenced by family traditions from a young age, Han Xue inherited the techniques of Chu Xiang production and engaged in long-term theoretical research on Chinese fragrance culture.

In late 2018, she received certification as an inheritor of intangible cultural heritage, marking the beginning of her comprehensive promotion of Chu Xiang culture.

Currently, she is the sole representative inheritor of Chu Xiang. After the successful application for intangible cultural heritage status, Han Xue has spared no effort in promoting the inheritance of Chu Xiang through various cultural activities and the writing of articles on Chu Xiang culture. Particularly noteworthy is her work "One Chu Ci, One Fragrance," which, in the form of academic prose, combines research on herbs from the "Chu Ci" with a professional exposition of Chu Xiang culture. This piece has gained popularity among numerous fragrance enthusiasts.
